Fibre Channel interface, max speed of 2Gbits/sec
The FC-II supports FC-AL2, the latest Fibre Channel standard and can hold up to four 2-Gbit Fibre Channel host interfaces. The device loops, made redundant by four interfaces (2 FC-AL loops), provide a high level of fault tolerance. FC-II is compatible with 1-Gbit Fibre Channel interfaces.
Superior expandability, max capacity of 8.76 TB
The FC-II has a standard 19-inch rack-mount enclosure, with a height of 3U as per the EIA standard. A single housing can hold up to 15, 73 GB (10,000 rpm) hard drives, for a maximum capacity of 8.76 TB when seven expansion units are added.

FC-II is a flexible, highly scalable, storage solution. It enables superior data availability through optimally integrated performance, active/active dual RAID controllers, automatic environment monitoring, and many other features.
Fault tolerance
The disk drives, controller modules with redundant cache batteries, power modules, and cooling fan modules are all hot-swappable to ensure a high level of fault tolerance. ArrayMasStor FC-II supports RAID levels 0,1, 0+1, and 5. These functions enable a high level of data protection and system availability.
Flexible configuration
1GB of data cache (512MB for each controller) is mirrored between both RAID controllers for high data protection (not supported when a single controller is used).
