Utilizing an Ultra160 SCSI interface on a single channel, K Series RAID systems can sustain transfers in excess of 100MB per second. Using 2 or more SCSI channels with 2 or more chassises, the K Series RAID can sustain over 200MB/second, making them ideal for use with 10 bit, 1080i HD 24p footage in a video editing environment.

The K-Series employs hardware RAID for data redundancy and protection, so your content files are protected in the unlikely event of a hard disk failure. Supports RAID 0, 1, 3 and 5. Drives are hot swappable and can be removed from the front panel without the use of tools and without having to remove the RAID from the rack, keeping the data available to the users.
